An iconoclast is someone who challenges or overturns traditional ethics, customs, and principles. Power can stand for strength, control, influence, persuasiveness or authority to act. Penalty can be interpreted as a punishment, disadvantage, or unpleasant consequence. Transgressive is to do incorrectly mistake, break the law, or to overstep the appropriate limits. Behavior is the manner in which someone acts or responds to a certain situation or circumstance. Jointly the connotation could be construed to be one who attacks the established beliefs or intuitions of others, for the ability to dominate, and to receive retribution for ones erroneous actions or activities.
             An abundant amount of individual's in today's culture, in one way or another, could be construed by another as being an iconoclast. Nearly every person has different feelings and beliefs towards a giving social matter. Not one person has all the same viewpoint as anyone else. What one human being could interpret to be normal, another personal may consider being an unimaginable thought. .
             Is being labeled an iconoclast considered to be a good or bad quality? Some of the most influential leaders and thinkers in society have had thoughts contrary to traditional opinion; pursuing their beliefs to make better way of life for all people.
