Concerto is a form of music in the Baroque age that was divided into three types. The first of the three types of concerto is orchestral concerto. With an orchestral concerto, instruments were categorized into groups depending on their texture and color. The second type is concerto grosso, which is three parts comprised of a concertino group that stands out from the main musical influence, a tutti or remainder group, and a ripieno or filling group.
