It was a wonderful experience to observe both the small and big changes in the environment. Seeing these changes was for sure a miracle of life. When I first begun to visit the " pine tree" I just thought of it as just a plant. In which, would be used for lumbar, shelter, oxygen, and its beauty. I never did take the time to observe the physical traits it shows until now.
Some of the things that I was able to observe were difference in the weather and the time period. I wouldn't have been able to recognize how weather affected the pine tree if we weren't in the season that we are in now. If we were to have done this project in late spring, I wouldn't have seen how snow changed the figure of the tree. Do to the weight of the snow it caused some of the branches and pines to fall off the tree. The snow then caused the figure of the tree to slightly bend side ways. In observing the tree in the winter it also allowed me to see how the temperature can change the atmosphere of the tree. For example, my second time that I visited the tree it was about 45 degrees outside. There was still snow laying on the tree and the ground very moist. But, do to it being cold outside I was able to see small ice sickle hanging on one of the branches. .
Last, I learned the importance of taking care of our environment around us. Taking care of our environment allows it to flourish and to continually grow. Some of the ways to take of it is to. Make sure the ground around trees and other plants are clean. Make sure that it is fertilized and watered. Last, don't cut down many trees so that they can go on and prosper. I found it to be a very relaxing place to go to when I was going through a lot of stress. Coming here also allowed me to reflect on the past and up coming events. .
