             Extraversion was referred to those who were outgoing and sociable; and life satisfaction was the subjective well-being or the happiness of participants. The present study, which was to found out whether the level of extraversion increased along with happiness and life satisfaction, showed that extraversion did affect subjective well-being as the results of SWLS (Satisfaction With Life Scale) and EPI (Eysenck Personality Inventory; Extraversion scale only) were being compared. Also, it showed that extraversion was positively effecting on life satisfaction. Participants were 12 males and 23 females college student age range from 18 to 40, who participated for course credit. They were given two sets of questionnaires and specific orders on the procedure; those who scored high in EPI would be indicated as extraverts and those who scored high in SWLS represented that they had higher satisfaction of life. It was hypothesized that participants in with high level of extraversion would likely to have high level of life satisfaction. The result of the present study had indicated that life satisfaction and extraversion were positively correlated. .
             The Relationship between Extraversion and Life Satisfaction.
             Psychology not only concerned with weakness and damage in human life, but also with the strength and virtue which is called positive psychology. One of the focuses of positive psychology is the relationship between positive subjected well-being, and positive personality traits such as extraversion (Myers, 2001).
             In countless studies concerned with the relationship between being sociable, outgoing, and carefree (extraversion) and Subjective Well- Being (SWB); do in fact, illustrate a moderate positive correlation between the two. SWB as defined by Diener and Lucas (1999) refers to the individual evaluation of their life through cognitive judgments of life satisfaction, moods, and emotions.
