3.6. There is intrinsic value in investing in new technology. It is good for morale. Also, having a large military budget sends a signal to other nations that we have a serious commitment to making our forces the strongest and fiercest they can be. .
4. Why We Should Expand and Accelerate the V-22 Program.
4.1. The Osprey has been under development since 1982. Since then, we may have reached a point of no return with it. At this stage in its development it makes no sense to end the program get nothing out of it. Instead we should expand and accelerate it so that we can have a fully functional, highly advanced new aircraft to show for all the time, money, and effort already invested in it. .
4.2. The Osprey has crashed multiple times during testing. Future accidents can be avoided if we learn more about why they happened and what needs to be improved with the aircraft. The more funding we give to the program, the more testing we can conduct, and the sooner it will be ready for use.

5.1. Investing in the Osprey will have economic benefits for the communities in which the Osprey and its components are built by creating jobs. .
