Kings Island

As you drive down the traffic jammed highway (I-71), you pass many vans full of screaming children ready to take on the winding metal tracks of "The Vortex" and "Face Off". On a normal humid Cincinnati summer day it is often hard to find a good parking place. So after paying seven dollars just to park, you are forced to park in one of the last spots in Pebbles row ten. After a short walk you can take the express tram from the parking area and they will drop you off directly in front of the main entrance.
Here you are left standing in front of the huge, well lit Paramount Kings Island sign. You purchase a forty-two dollar ticket and enter through the gate. Suddenly, you are overwhelmed with music, toys, photographers and a large Olympic size fountain with gushing waterfalls and spouts. Directly behind this large pool is three hundred and sixteen feet of steel soaring above you. This is Kings Island's signature trademark, known as the Eiffel Tower (which is a replication of the real one in Paris, France). .
There are over twenty-five thrilling roller-coasters in this theme park. Kings Island is the home of the record breaking ride "The Beast". This is the world's longest wooden roller-coaster stretching to about seven thousand four hundred feet and leaving your body in suspense for about four minutes and thirty-five seconds.
Kings Island is famous for their thrilling, award-winning coasters and also for their waterpark that is included with admission. This waterpark holds the only place in Cincinnati where you can surf. You can ride the waves without even being at the beach on Kings Island's "Wipe-Out-Beach". There is also a huge wave pool holding .
over two hundred thousand gallons of fun splashes. Also, the waterpark has over twelve spine tingling water slides to enjoy and my favorite ride "The Lazy Miami River.".
Paramount Kings Island is also a great place for children. They can play in Hannah-Barbara Land where they can enjoy there own "kiddie size" coasters including "The Beastie" (a smaller version of "The Beast").
