As they wake up they feel their pulse throbbing in their head and as they hit the snooze button several times and they wish they would have never woken up. As they get out of bed they are so tired they can barely keep their eyes open, and they stagger into the bathroom to get some aspirin to try to relieve their throbbing headache. They spend the rest of the morning in their classes trying their best to stay awake as they are hunched over in their chairs wondering if this is all this pain and suffering is really worth it. . The students manage to get their work done in class but they procrastinate to the last minute and are barley getting buy. They stress themselves out so bad that eventually it all catches up with them and the students realize what they are doing to themselves and turn their life around, or they just never learn and they drop out of school. .
Is this really what we see from the typical student on a college campus? There will always be a few students that do fall into the party trap and live that kind of lifestyle, but I do not see the "party student" as a typical college student. It is very hard to really pick out a typical college student on today's campus. The diversity of students that you see now is incredible. You will find foreign exchange students, people of different ethnic backgrounds, and all different races that are grateful just to be in America getting an education. You may also see the students just out of high school that are on their first voyage away from their parents and are experiencing their first taste of independence. More and more women are finding their way onto college campuses as it is becoming very common to have women pursuing professional careers and getting a college education. There is also an older generation of students that are sweeping across today's college campus. Many students who have already begun their careers are going back to school to get that master's degree.
