Have you ever wanted to do something so bad, that it is the only thing you think about? Well, that was snowboarding and me! Three weeks prior to James and I going snowboarding, we requested the days off from work. When we went in it work to request those days, we had to write a reason for the time off, so we wrote in snowboarding. James told me that everything I needed was roughly about $80 bucks and extra pair of clothes and if I had it a snowboard. As the weeks went by I became more and more excited about the upcoming trip. By the second week that was the only thing I talked about. So when James and I were in the same class that was the topic of all of our conversations. The day before we went snowboarding I called James to make sure the trip was still on. He told me that he wasn't sure, he had received a bad grade in one of his classes and that meant the trip could be cancelled. He called me back in fifteen minutes and told me that we were still going and to be ready ant 10:30 a.m. That night I could only think about snowboarding, so needless to say I didn't get much sleep. The next morning I got all the stuff together and eagerly awaited the arrival of James. We put all the stuff in his truck and we took off, first to McDonalds to wait for the others that were going with us and also to get breakfast when the others arrived. The wait was extremely long, the others happen to be girls and you know how they are. SLOW!! When they arrived we talked for about fifteen minutes and then took off to Sundown to the slopes. The travel time was about one and half hours, but that included the bathroom break. When we got there we were too early for the discounted rate for the afternoon. So we just stood around for about 15-20 minutes waiting to get the boards and the tags for the lift. Finally we were able to buy the lift tickets and rent the boards, so we headed for the top. James explained how to snowboard to me on the way up the slope.
