Freedom of..what?

How effective is the Constitution of the United States? The first amendment protects freedom of speech, press, religion, assembly, and petition. Then again, are we really free to do what we want, when we want, and where we want? The constitution is unclear of what is right and what is wrong and the government has made it up to the country to decide. .
When Americans think of "freedom of speech" they think of the right to say what they feel. Constitutionally, this should be true; however, the government has a hold on what we can and can't say. If someone were to stand in court in front of a judge and speak in a foul and ill manner it wouldn't be tolerated and he or she would be punished. Another example is if a person was in a public area and they said the small, yet simple word "Bomb", it wouldn't seem as harmless as it sounds and would actually be taken as an enormous threat. Such as if he or she were in an Air Port, security would search, investigate, and antagonize them. Soon enough "Free speech" will become an empty phrase and in the end, it will be used to mean "speech we approve of will be free.".
Because religious belief is such an important part of life, it affects every individual. Religious establishments use government power in support of themselves and force their views on people of other faiths or of no faith at all. Religious leaders hide behind religion to get what they want. A religion could be made up of misleading and false rules which could force a person to change their entire lifestyle. It seems that some religions might be doing more harm than good.
Overall, the constitution has shown to be imprecise of what is moral and what is immoral. Freedom of Speech isn't a free will to say whatever we feel to whoever we feel. As well as Freedom of Religion shouldn't be something to hide behind to change a person's views or lifestyle. Americans need to know what their guaranteed rights as a citizen in the United States are, yet how can they do so if the rights themselves aren't thorough enough to comprehend the meaning.
