The Census Bureau estimated that fifteen million teens would grow up to about seventeen million in the year of 2010. The teen mothers feel like they can't go back to school, because they have a baby to take care of. Hispanic children are generally from low income families according to the article "Who Drops Out?" The children show low self-esteem, because the can not speak English. With the Hispanic teens, parents, and children not knowing how to speak English in the United States makes them unable to succeed. .
Teens are having a hard time learning in school because they don't understand what the teacher is saying. More and more teens are leaving high school because they are having a hard time learning the basic skills like math, reading, and trying to learn English at the same time. Many Hispanic parents separate and a majority of the single mothers were high school drop outs due to getting pregnant. The father was not in the picture, which they tend to continue school and not come back.
I feel that mother becoming pregnant in their teenage years will start the viscous cycle phenomenon over again. More than likely, a mother who drops out of high school to have a baby will end with the baby falling in to the same viscous cycle.
