romeo and juilet

However, again fate takes hold and we know that unfortunately, Friar Laurence's letter was not received by Romeo. So, thinking Juliet dead he returned, went to where she lay and killed himself. So, when Juliet awoke and saw him dead she too committed suicide. Both tragically died. Although they killed themselves through love, it was fate that led caused the misunderstanding which resulted in their deaths. I think that fate always stood in the way of their relationship. They secretly, married each other and this just made their love more passionate for each other. Love can sometimes be a weakness as Romeo and Juliet discovered this. However its not a real weakness to love someone and be so passionate about someone in this case it was fate that lead to there downfall.
From the beginning of the relationship, Romeo talks of fate. On page 51 romes thinks that if he goes to the party tonight something fearful is going to happen for example " some consequences yet hanging in the stars shall bitterly begin his fearful date" because of fate Romeo has an inner voice telling him do to go and in fact hanging in the stars means that his future has all ready been set out for him and if he goes to the party tonight he feels something bad will happen. " by some vile forfeit of untimely death." Even though he feels this he still goes to the party and put himself in the hand of fate. "Direct my sail: on lusty gentleman." Juliet talks about her love for Romeo and how it is fate that she loves Romeo who is a member of family that her own family hate. "my only love sprung from my only hate, too early seen, unknown, and known too late." Even here Juliet talks although its fate that she has fallen in love with Romeo. Another example of when Romeo blames fate is on page 84 "o I am fortune's fool" even then he his blaming fate for what is happening to him because he says .
Romeo and Tybolt was very different characters Romeo was infested with love and was very romantic throughout the play and Tybolt was the total opposite he had a lot of hate in him and was very different he always wanted to fight and was very up front about what he did.
