             As the world starts to globalize, there's seems to be much debate over the current forms of globalization. The fear of globalization is that it might be excessively corporate-led. These corporations are economically driven and the way they go about making profits may influence people in the wrong way. They manipulate and own most media companies, so it's hard to fight against these corporations because of the control and influence they possess. The choices that corporations benefit themselves and don't care whether their choices hurt or plunder people just as long as there are profits to be made. As corporation grew and expand, they tend to concentrate their efforts in terms of ownership of an industry and in wealth. This concern about the drive for profits as the end result sometimes contradicts the social good, and corrupts society in general. .
             Corporate influence can reach various parts of societies through all sorts of different means, as they have seemingly endless supply of financial resources. Other entities lack these resources thus cannot compete with corporations on many different means. One of the main mediums that corporations directly control with the use of this endless revenue is the mainstream media.
             Many major multinational corporations own media stations and outlets. As the number of media outlets increase, the ownership is becoming more condensed because of these huge corporate merges that are becoming more frequent. An effect of this control is a reduction in diversity and depth of content that the public as access to, while the corporations and advertisers increase there political and economic power.
