             The Central-West region has three states: Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Goias. The capital city, Brasilia, is located in this region. It is still few populated and it has been one of the most isolated regions in the country. But recently it got a fast development on the agricultural and industrial activities. The principal kind of vegetation is cerrado. Rex A. Hudson notes that "Its main biome is the cerrado, the tropical savanna in which natural grassland is partly covered with twisted shrubs and small trees-. The climate is tropical humidity with frequent rainy days during the summer. The tourism as economy activity is developing quickly in this region, attracting tourists from every part of the world.

             The Southeast region compiles four states. They are Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, and Espirito Santo. It has the major part of the country population. The climate is tropical.              The South region is the smallest one. It compiles three states: Parana, Santa Catarina e Rio Grande do Sul. Despite this is the smallest region in the country, people have a good standard of life.
