My mom always said, "Nothing is better than knowledge." She said I had to study till the end of the degrees. The higher degrees you gain, the more welfare you get. According to my country, there are little institutions that provide the higher degrees, Master and PhD degrees. In addition to having the small number of schools, their degree, not like one of the U.S, is neither standard nor recognized by most organizations in local and other countries around the world. Due to these factors and my motivation to pursue graduate study, after graduation from university, in 2002, I decided to focus all my strengths on proficiency in English language instead of seeking a job. I have specifically concentrated on preparing to the TOEFL (Test of English as Foreign Language) test, which is the standard test for all the students, whose native language is not English and would like to pursue their study in the developed country. Meanwhile, I was an English teacher at my house. That was a private tutor to individuals and groups of children who are my neighbor. By using Headway Program, I have developed my personal teaching material. I have learned, taught and practiced by myself several months and taken the official test twice. After receiving satisfactory scored, I tried to seek for graduate scholarship. At the mean time, I also looked for a job related to my field to gain some experience. Because of my eager need of experience, at last, I found an Information Technology (IT) job in this early year. .
I have worked as an IT specialist for Daily Web Internet Service for a half year. At first, I was responsible for networking support. My most significant accomplishment in this task was to build the network infrastructure. It also involved the wiring, connecting and setting up over dozen PCs to enable them to have Internet access from a main server PC, which runs by Window NT operation system. Besides building up computer network, I also had to troubleshoot PCs hardware and software, mostly, PCs which were infected from Internet.
