ETHICS: A DAY BY DAY COMMITMEN

It is evident that the author shows hers concern about the importance that the organizations must acknowledge the necessity of conforming of an internal code of ethics and behaviour. Is clear that she makes an outstanding difference between write codes and programs intended to solve the issues of ethics among organizations. She is severe in the importance when stating "When doing out fines, the government makes distinctions between serious compliance policies and those that are [ ] paper programs suitable to framing" (Wheat, 2002). A clear invitation to the corporations to become an active member of the Ethics Officer Association is her last sentence.
Firms could use conflict as mask by Gordon Pitts (2003).
This time the author is using the current conflict in Iraq to recall an old way in the business world to use hard times to release bad news in the hope that it will pass with out notice under a heavy load of tragedy and sadness.
The obligation to inform accurately and in proper time is rewritten in a low ethic manner when it comes to covering mistakes that under normal circumstances would be more expensive to the Corporation releasing the information.
The author includes a somehow candid commentary about a Toronto investments specialist that suspects "there may be companies and their advisors who thinks this way", (Pitts, 2003) when it comes to qualifying those actions. The author also says:.
"Even so, taking difficult corporate actions in the midst of war reflects a time-honoured corporate tradition of trying to bury bad news. The traditional view has been that a company should disclose negative news on a Friday afternoon, when news rooms are winding down and in anticipation of a small news space in many Saturday papers" (2003).
It is astonishing, to say the less. These things themselves are not taught in any University. They are learned as part of a daily instruction. Double morals are the denomination.
