The following case dealt with Pedro Tejada. This case was held in the East Boston District Court. He was accused of hitting his girlfriend and his mother. Both were separate cases and both were supposedly accidents. Lisa Medeiros was the defense attorney representing Pedro Tejada. Pedro Tejada said that he was drunk when he "accidentally" hit his mother and girlfriend. In the end, Pedro Tejada was given 11 months probation and assigned to a drug abuse program. .
Lisa Medeiros next case was to defend Lisa McDonald in the East Boston District Court. Lisa McDonald had 10 outstanding complaints. McDonald had a whole bunch of cases and she just kept defaulting them. Medeiros settled 9 of McDonald's cases. The last one was a case of welfare fraud. Lisa Medeiros settled the welfare deal by getting McDonald a deal of her paying $3,500 in 11months and that she will be on probation until she pays back all the money. .
Viktor Theiss next case deals with Dan Stephens and Brian Clague (defendants) v. Damion Howell (plaintiff). Dan and Brian claimed that Damion assaulted them in the street and that he had called them "faggots". In addition, Dan Stephen alleged that Damion had hit him. Damion's defense was that Brian Clague had bumped his 5 yr. old son, Takai, and he didn't apologize. Damion faced seven charges for making threats, assault, and civil rights violations. The jury was not told that Damion was on parole after a conviction for other offenses. The final verdict of the jury was not guilty on all seven charges. .
In the next case Lisa Medeiros was defending Chitrayan Sharma. Sharma was accused of trespassing and stealing at a college library. Sharma has at least four times failed to appear for trial so the judge is forced to require a $500 bond before release-which Sharma is too poor to pay. Lisa Medeiros is trying to make Sharma understand that either he'll have to sit 28 days in jail awaiting a trial or, he can plead guilty and try to get probation.
