             Any person who commits any of the above crimes, is guilty of an indictable offence and is liable to a term of imprisonment from 2 years in jail to a life time sentence.
             As shown, these crimes usually lead to an arrest. When arrested by an officer, the procedure is usually the same. When arrested, the police officer has the obligation to advise the criminal of his rights, he has guaranteed rights by the chart of law to be informed in a brief delay of the motives for his arrest, he also has the right to have the assistance of an attorney and to be informed of that right. During the arrest, the person in custody by the authority of law has the right not to identify himself, it may lead to severe consequences but they still have the right to do so. After the officer has spoken all the chart of rights, the criminal has to be handcuffed, then brought to the police station to be questioned by officers with the presence of a lawyer. Then depending on the case some may be sent to prison until they are sentenced in court and others may pay a bond to be on probation until their trial. Some may only pay a fine and then be released.
             Nevertheless, after committing a crime and being arrested, you can be sent to court for trial.
