There are many different interpretations, and misconceptions about the term "feminism". I support many of the issues that are considered to be women's issues within our culture; reproductive rights, freedom of sexuality, and equality within the workplace. Why is it then that feminism is often considered to be a form of "male-bashing" or a "femini-nazi" way of thinking? Feminism is defined as a social movement that seeks to change the traditional role and image of women and there are many beliefs associated with feminism that many feel strongly about yet these people would not define themselves as feminists.
