Every day you get up, put on clothes, and eat breakfast. Then it's off into the world, to get judged. People do judge you by what you wear and eat, this is why you can tell a lot from what a person wears and eats. Most know this so they wear and eat what they want to be thought as. If you go to a restaurant on a date there is a reason why you bring your date to somewhere you like to eat and wear your normal clothes. This is because you can tell a lot from what you wear and eat.
What you wear is usually what the people that you hang out with wear. I wear a lot of "Preppy" clothes and almost all my friends wear the same. I try hard in school and usually get good grades, as do my friends. One of my friends wears loose, old, torn clothes to school. He drove a new Passat so we all knew he could afford new clothes, he did not try in school and just from looking at him my mom knew this. In every school there are separate little groups, each one of these groups have there own style of clothes they wear and this is how you know that you can tell a lot about these people from the clothes they wear. I have one friend that dresses like a Hippy and most people are convinced she is a pot smoking Flower Child, but she is totally against it and would never smoke. Sometimes what a person wears can throw you off. When I asked her why she wore that Hippy clothing her response was "Its comfy and I like it". On Halloween you can also tell a lot about a person. Halloween is the one day of the year that you can wear what you want and express yourself. .
If you walk into a job interview wearing rags the chances of you getting a job selling anything to anyone is very unlikely. This is why when you go for job interviews you are supposed to wear clothes that are impressive and not casual. If you do show up in rags your employer is going to laugh and tell you not to come back again. Another example of this is when you go to a car dealership and a man wearing old clothes that smell and look bad tries to sell you a used 82 Buick you probably will say "I need to go home and think about it".
