Euthanasia should be used as a way to relive human suffering. Eliminating life support for the patients that are incapable of recovery should also be an option. There are many cases that go on topic. I believe that in the novel Of Mice and Men, George should have let Lennie live because there was still a chance of recovery. Euthanasia should be admitted only after the patient(s) have signed off, maybe on some paper years before their condition. The government should make laws regarding everyone to decide their own fate. If a man is incapable of making their own decision then the doctor could fall back on the papers he signed years before. To relive the condition would be the most positive point of euthanasia. People who have no way of recovering from a sickness and are on life support should have the option of euthanasia looked at. Tell the family that they have to make a decision because of their own condition. In the story, George made a big decision in the little time that he had. The reason I thought that George made a bad decision is that Lennie could have always had a shot at getting out of jail. Lennie should have not been killed. Personally, I have never been experience to a situation like euthanasia, but I know if I did face that option I would take a long time to think about it. Depending on the request on my relative or friend I would probably let them die without suffering.
