Comparison.
When people are young, very few get along with their brother or sister. They get on each others nerves and often argue, fight, and rarely get along. My sister Tarrah and I are the opposite, we are best friends. Although we sometimes (but rarely) argue, we love each other very much. From our appearance to our personality, we are two very similar girls.
My sister and I were separated at a very young age so our backgrounds are quite different. My mom was a busy woman who worked very hard and earned barely any money. She had to take care of the three of us: me, my brother Josh, and my sister Tarrah all by herself. Finally she received a promotion to Los Angeles at Home Depot. She was tired of always having us being watched by irresponsible and carefree babysitters so she decided it would be best for us and her that we lived with different people, not because she didn't love us, but neither her nor my dad were very wealthy. My brother stayed with my mom, my sister lived with my dad, and I lived with my grandmother. I was raised with a more strict and freedom less life. I hardly ever went out and I always did well in school and focused on my future. My sister however, could do basically whatever she wanted. She would always hang out with her friends and have fun. My mom moved back to Bakersfield and I started living with her because my grandparents were having financial difficulties. Two years later my sister moved in because she and my dad were having problems. We have now been living together for a year. Our lives have changed dramatically. I teach her educational things and she teaches me streetwise things. Now we both don't realize how we have made it so far without each other. .
Although we resemble one another, our appearances are quite different. My sister looks almost identical to my mother while I look very much like my dad. She has long blonde hair, a small face, and brown eyes.
