The author has stated various views of what the future could hold for later generations of the human race. It is certain that many things will corrupt our little world and these factors will be the main arguments on witch I will elaborate. Can power be put in the hands of a few people and expect everything to run smoothly, will people act on there opinions, if freedom is taken away can we still call our selves human beings and is the future going towards a life where there is no love and affection? Should we really change the way we are living at this time and day or is there a way to avoid all this from happening? I think we must let the future take us in its arms and have faith that we will all be ok.
Just like in real life, the person with the upper hand will control all that surrounds it, in this story having the power (higher authority) is the best way to control:" His ford ship Mustafa Mond!"(38). Everybody wants to have the power, in a relationship, marriage or even enough power the control a hole country. The fact of it is that there must be somebody in power, someone must be responsible enough to take hard decisions and in the book the director makes most of these decisions. In the future will these people who have the power try to control us? How will we act upon there decisions? In the book the director gives out the orders but some of the workers don't always obey. In the future we will have people like Helmholtz and Bernard Marx:" They say that he does not like Obstacle Golf"(46), people who don't want to lose their freedom. By giving one person the power to control, means that we are also throwing away are freedom and handing them our liberty, which is the liberty to make choices. Is he really a rebel? I think so, Bernard Marx is a character that does what he wants when he pleases, he does not fallow orders and I think that he is the closest thing to a real human being.
