Many people these have different opinions about many different issues. One of these issues seams to be euthanasia. Many people believe that euthanasia, which is an assisted killing by the request of the patient, should be legal. But there are also people who are strongly against euthanasia. My personal belief on euthanasia is that it should be legal to a certain degree.
There have been many cases in the world of euthanasia. Euthanasia exists in many forms, it doesn't only happen to humans. Household pets have to unfortunately get euthanised ( put down) sometimes because of some kind of illness. These pets get euthanised because the owner(s) or the vet doesn't want the animal to suffer. But if we can do it to animals, then we can do it to humans? Well, we do this to people. Its illegal, but euthanasia does happen. It might be illegal, but how many laws actually are obeyed? None! Euthanasia might sound awful, and it is because its death. But we should all learn to accept euthanasia because it might not sound like a good thing, but it just might be.
All people should have rights and they do. To have the right to die is not one of them. But under special circumstances a person should have the right to choose his death. For example, if a person has some sort of disease and is hooked up to all sorts of toobs and machines and takes many kinds of medication with strong effects and side-effects and also this person cant get out of bed because is crippled. Now, what kind of life is that? If that person can communicate, and requests to die through assisted suicide, then the person should have the right to die. .
I"m still not sure weather I agree with euthanasia or not, because this topic has so many sides that are good and bad that it makes you think real hard. Life is something that should be appreciated and protected and it's not something that can be thrown into the garbage.
