Should capital punishment be reintroduced to.
Even after watching the video in class I think that capital punishment is right and should be introduced to Britain. Here are some of my reasons for this.

Firstly I think this should be the case because I think it would act as a deterrent to murderers, and thieves, if they think they will be killed for what they do.

Secondly I think it should be reintroduced to Britain because I strongly believe that if you murder, you should be killed. Some people believe that this is stupid as you are murderers, if you do the same; you sink to their level. I also think this is nonsense, as you are using capital punishment, to get justice, therefore you aren't killing because you hate someone. Some people argue that you can make mistakes, I will cover this later. .

Although I think capital punishment should be introduced, there should be some rules. I think people should only have capital punishment if they have murdered, NOTHING else. I don't think someone should face the death penalty if these things apply:.
Someone has a mental illness that could have influenced a murder.
If it was Man slaughter.
If it was anything except murder.
If the people are absolutely positive it is that person, and they have conclusive evidence.
I especially believe that you need conclusive evidence, as there is no room for mistakes, because once someone is dead there is no going back.
These are only my views and I know a lot of people strongly disagree with me, I know the class do, and I appreciate their opinions, and can see some sense in what they say. .
Lastly I believe that going to jail is not a strong enough punishment, and isn't a strong enough deterrent, as you can see by Britain's crime rate. .
