Evolution

This evidence indicates the fact that there has been an incredible variety of genus on Earth. Some now extinct organisms had traits that were intermediary between other major groups of species. Their existence confirms that organisms are not fixed, but can evolve into other species over time.
Living things on Earth are fundamentally similar in their chemical compositions and in the way their basic structures develop. Everything begins as single cells that reproduce themselves by similar division processes, whether they are a simple single-celled prokaryote or a complex organism with millions of millions cells. Specific characteristics from their parents by inheriting particular combinations of genes are received by all plants and animals. In fact, scientists have discovered that genes are segments of DNA molecules in our cells. These segments of DNA are chemically coded instructions for developing proteins by linking together specific amino acids in particular sequences. The many types of .
proteins in living things are made of only twenty kinds of amino acids. Not only that, but most organisms are alike because they all either get their energy .
required for the main processes done in life, including reproduction, by consuming sunlight through photosynthesis or by eating green plants. All of these main connections between living things can be most understandably accounted for by supposing that they either share a universal ancestry or that they developed as a result of similar procedures.
The Earth's environments are continuously changing, usually in delicate and intricate ways. When the changes are so immense as to go beyond what most individuals of a population can endure, death occurs. However, not all organisms pass away. Fortunately, genetic diversity occurs throughout the natural populations. The plant or animal whose attributes allow them to endure an environmental disaster will most likely be the only ones able to reproduce.
