b-ball

Ever since I was eight years old in the second grade, I've always had one true love. That true love was the game of basketball. It's brought me so much joy, and at the same time so much pain. It's been there with me through my ups and downs. Sometimes I wonder what my life would really be like with out basketball.
Basketball has taught me so much about life on and off the court. It has taught me how to control my emotions. Being able to control your emotions is very vital in being successful in the real world. The game of basketball has also instilled a deep eagerness in me to always want to be a winner. I have also made some life long friends playing the game of basketball. Many people look at basketball as just a game, but to me it's a way of life. I need it to function it brings me so much joy. It's just the feeling you get from sinking that basket, making that lay-up, or dunking that ball. The feeling that you get can't be described in words.
The game has taught me work ethic because of basketball I put a hundred percent into anything I do. I have learned to leave it all out there on the court and in life. As long as you have giving it your all you can hold your head up high. I have learned that what ever you want you must work at it. Nobody is going to just hand anything to you. It's like the saying: "you get out what you put in." Basketball is not only my love but it's my one true passion. .
