The technology could get into the wrong hands and we could end up seeing possibly the end of the world, or there could be a backlash of clones vs. humans. But probably the worst of all would be would the person you clone be the exact same person if you to bring them back? .

With this much technology of being able to control life, it would only be a matter of time before it dropped into the wrong hands of someone such as a terrorist group or other organization. With this type of technology in their power we could end up seeing endless and endless amounts of cloned "warriors- to whom they are designed just to fight or have a leader reborn again to fight another day. This is why I believe the United States Senate has put a ban on cloning of humans to ensure that none of the previous mentioned problems occur and the safety of the people is ensured (http://www.aph.gov.au/Senate/work/journals/2002/jnlp_048.pdf). And as time goes by the end of the world could be at stake with just one of these groups having a hold of this type of technology.
Another disadvantage to human cloning would be the fact of a possible backlash of Humans Vs. Clones. Many people would get offended that a clone could possibly have a job that normal human would have thus putting the "superior- race out of jobs and various types of work. Another backlash would be that if the government recognized them as citizens but yet people who have been trying to become citizens are refused. This would put the world up for grabs again based on the fact that more and more outbreaks of war and fighting would begin between the two and could possibly end the world as well. There are so many outcomes and problems that come along with cloning that even the slightest advantage to "non-human- people would cause uproar to the real humans (http://www.ama-ssn.org/ apps/ pf_online?fn=browse&doc=p./H-140.930.HT).
Another and probably the most significant would be the fact that, yes even though we bring them back and everything is ok, would they be the exact same person.
