We have encountered with specific ethnical problems which are required years even centuries to be unraveled. Most of these conflicts are based on ethnical origins. What is the common issue among these conflicts? Firstly, all of them include territorial claims. Secondly, most of above mentioned conflicts have religious base. And thirdly most of them are appeared in developing countries. Therefore, summarizing these points we can assume that ethnical conflicts are appeared in regions with economic stagnations. In this case people are predisposed to express their national values and are easily affected.
             Transcaucasus region differ from other regions for many reasons. There is no region in the World which accumulates such number of nations within such little geographical territory. Diversity of ethnical groups are expanded across this region. Statistically there are number of nationalities and minority groups living there. The most dominated nations out of the other ninety small minority groups are Armenians, Azerbaijanis, Georgians, Russians, Kurds, Yezidies, Greeks, Lezgians, Avars, Talish, Tats, Abkhazians, Ajarians, Ossetians and Meskhetian Turks. Despite the escalation of the conflicts in this region in the end of 20th century, most of them still keep their ordinary acceptable place of living. Obviously, this reflects on current geopolitical situation in the region and could be considered as a prime cause of extended instability in Transcaucasus. National Identity could be the standpoint of solving regional conflicts in this region. Thus, we will return to the history of Transcaucasus nations and find out some interesting facts regarding our ancestors and will try to re-establish the truth. .
             Three former Soviet republics - Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia - are situated in the area between the Main Caucasian Range and the River of Araz. In Russian the region is called Zakavkaz"ie, which literally means Transcaucasia or the Transcaucasus.
