He realized that his father will not listen and commits suicide. .
             Tiresias.
             Tiresias is a blind messenger, who is guided by a young boy, sent from the Gods. He warns Creon that the Gods are mad at him and tells him that he will suffer. .
             Eurydice.
             Eurydice is the wife to Creon and mother to Haemon. She is heartbroken over the death of Haemon. She runs off and stabs herself. .
             Messenger and Messenger 2.
             Messenger tells Eurydice about the suicide that her son has committed. He is proud of the way Creon is handling business. Messenger 2 tells Creon of the suicide that Eurydice has committed. He does not agree with the way Creon is acting.
             Sentinel.
             The Sentinel is the one who captures Antigone. He is a little afraid of Creon's anger. .
             6. Plot Outline.
             Basic Situation "Antigone goes to cover Polynices. She gets mad that Creon gave Eteocles a proper burial service and just let Polynices rot on a hillside. Antigone decides to bury Polynices, so she goes and gives him the proper services. .
             Complication "The Sentinel catches Antigone. When he tells Creon that the body was buried, Creon demanded to unbury it, Antigone saw what happened and ran over to bury it again. The Sentinel grabs her and takes her to Creon.
             Rising Action "Creon's punishment for burying Polynices was to be put to death. Instead Antigone is put in a cave as her punishment. He wants her to die of starvation and depression. Creon wants her to live in the cave with misery. .
             Climax "Creon puts Antigone in the cave after she was captured. Antigone did not want to die in misery. She said that her cave was her bridal bed. Antigone used the linen that was in her cave and hung herself. .
             Falling Action "Haemon does not agree with the punishment that Creon has given to Antigone. He Confronts Creon and tells him that the city thinks that he is wrong about leaving the body left unburied. Since Antigone and Haemon agreed that they would marry and die together Haemon kills himself in the tomb.
