Cuban missle crisis

             There is one message portrayed in these two cartoons. It is that the government was lying to everyone. They were giving false reasons on why our troops were there when know body knew why they were there especially the soldiers. Then it shows Nixon ticking everyone while he strings along the war while more and more people die in it every day. If Nixon wouldn't have went behind INSERT back then the war would have been over and maybe the mission to not let communism would have worked it could have ended like Korea in a split between the country.
             2. The document portray different things. The first one is how the north and all of America felt about the south and how they did things. It is saying that how you do things is the wrong way and if you want to do that find a country different country because we don't tolerate it. The second one is say that the south doesn't care about what the police are doing but are supporting it and that's how they feel. Cause if they didn't would they stop it or maybe they couldn't because that's who was in power. They are both saying what is going on in the south when we see these we think we wouldn't tolerate this so why do they the south must be bad.
             3. There are four view expressed in these documents. Three are the same that the war is bad. The first showing that no one knew why the war was going on not even the soldiers. The second is talking about all the deceptions that we learned was going on behind the scene and that the war could have ended but Nixon was trying to win the election for his own reasons and didn't really care about the American public but about himself. The third is talking about how the war is one for the poor and that weren't doing anything with there life. If you were rich then you could buy your way out. If you were in collage then the government would wave your duty because you were smart. The forth document talked about how proud you should be that you can give your life for the US and that your son should fallow your way and maybe give his life to.
