"The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man is he who listens to counsel.
The media is predicting that more and more people will begin using the internet and it has been reported by our President and by our elected officials efforts will be made to make having access to the internet easier for everyone. Have you tried to capture the mental image of what kind of person you would become if you suddenly came across a lot of money? Most people will get excited about at least one get-rich-quick scheme. People that involve themselves convince themselves they can just decide to become rich. Some people naturally have a great desire and some newbies develop their desires by becoming network marketers.
Many get-rich-quick schemes are unsolved mysteries; no one knows if they work. Whenever I log on the internet numerous pop-up advertisements try to capture my attention away from whatever I intended and replace my direction. Getting rich quick sounds appealing to me. I am a dreamer. I dream of having a beautiful, spacious residence on top of a grassy hill which overlooks a botanical garden filled with blooming flowers of my favorite shades. I would love to have time to grow my own botanical garden from scratch. I dream of having at least five brand-new vehicles, a compact luxury sports car, a vintage mid-size car, an SUV with a loud stereo, a really big truck, and a motor-home. I would take out the motorhome for traveling and camping. I would visit every place I always dreamed of and make the time to relax and soak up the sun and drink my favorite beverages all day long.
Can people become addicted to get-rich-quick schemes? In my opinion, yes. Alongside the appeal of the advertisements is greed and desperation. Even when failure has already happened, a new horizon of hope appears and introduces itself to the gullible potential business student. People are drawn to high-risk, low-investment schemes.
