The conflict is about this fact basically.              First of all, it is important to know the historical background of the Gallipoli War in order to have an idea of what the war is about, who are the sides that fight in the battlefields and how these rivals formed alliances. Second, the goals of the rivals are more understandable after knowing about the background of the war. .
             To start with, it is vital to know that Enver Pasha and the German ambassador meet secretly on July 27 to talk about a Turko-German alliance and after a few days the secret Turko-German alliance is signed. The terms of the alliance were: .

             3. In case of war, Germany will leave her military mission at the disposal of Turkey. The latter, for her part, assures the said military mission an effective influence on the general conduct of the army, in accordance with the understanding arrived at directly between His Excellency the Minister of War and His Excellency the Chief of the Military Mission.
