All values of Islamic morality produce a better person and an upright human being: generous, patient, perseverant, and courteous individual. The essential principle of the Islamic morality is to eradicate harmful actions, attitudes and behaviors (Orens 7). The family, which is the basic unit of civilization, is strongly emphasized in Islam. Islam's family system brings the rights of the husband, wife, children, and relatives into a fine equilibrium. Family nourishes unselfish behavior, generosity, and love in the framework of a well-organized system. The peace and security offered by a stable family unit is greatly valued, and it is seen as essential for the spiritual growth of its members. A harmonious social order is created by the existence of extended families and by treasuring children (Salem).
Islam provides moral guidance in all walks of life. Islam helps purify a soul and bring them closer to Allah. These practices are often referred to as the five pillars. These five pillars of Islam originated from the prophet Abraham and are practices that were performed by all the prophets and messengers who came after him, including Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad. The pillars include bearing witness that there is no other God besides the One God, praying five times a day, giving 2.5% of your income to charity each time you earn money, fasting, and pilgrimage once in your lifetime to Mecca (Holmberg). These practices are called pillars because they give the support and strength needed to build and enjoy a meaningful life. Islam represents one God, strong morals and ethics, and a stable family. Islamic beliefs appeal to non-Muslims because of Muslims" unwavering faith in Allah. A strong factor in believing the faith is what Islam actually stands for. .
Islamic values are not the only thing that attracts believers. Geography is also a great factor in the spread of Islam. The religion originated in the Middle Eastern part of the world and spread onward from there.
