Technology has played an important role in the improvement and development of military technology. Technology, in this day and age, is equal to great success in warfare. The course of a war, the conduct of battles, and the planning and execution of strategies and tactics are all linked to the role of technology. Artillery and guided missiles were introduced to create mass destruction. Medical attention had an amazing revolution, surgeries and the use of medical drugs helped reduce the number of preventable casualties on the battlefields. The advancement in technological communication also helped War Generals make more effective war plans by communicating with their military soldiers during battles. The improvement in military technology had gradually reduced casualties and helped improve warfare in World War 1 and World War 2.
The advancement in military technology has been broadly utilized in the research, design and manufacturing of all types of artillery to reduce the number of casualties in the last two major World Wars. .

During the 1940's, technology had gradually created advancements within the military power by arming their respective troops with guided missiles. These guided missiles are self-propelled, creating the most powerful attack on a particular building or target of any sort with precision and timing, leaving the surroundings untouched and unharmed. It is mainly controlled and adjusted by an automatic self-sufficient controls otherwise isolated human controls.
