             Of Mice and Men.
The author of the story "Of Mice and Men" was John Steinbeck. He was born February 27, 1902 in Salinas, California. Steinbeck's story "Of Mice and Men" was set around the town of Soledad, and was produced as a novel and then turned into a play. John Steinbeck spent most of his personal time writing about life on farms during the Great Depression. He focused most of his stories on how bad the time was for migrant workers. .
Attention Defacite Disorder can be a very hard disorder for people to deal with. In adults they tend to have a lot of problems with self control. "The predominantly inattentive type (that does not show significant hyperactive-impulse behavior) symptoms is called ADD." http://www.nih.gov/publicat/adhd.cfm#symptoms. Also they tend to show major signs of being inattentive. "People who are inattentive have a hard time keeping their minds on any one thing and may get bored with a task after only a few minutes. If they are doing something they enjoy, they have no trouble paying attention." http://www.nimh.gov/publicat/adhd.cfm#inatt. This is when they tend to stare off into space and zone out everything else around them. .
Most people believe that Steinbeck wrote about things, he saw during the great depression. I believe he hears about people like Lennie often during his life. Most of his writing about Lennie is what he thought someone like him would act like.
