Our lives are sacred to all of us and yet there is an option to murder lives that haven't even begun to live. Today I will present to you controversial issues on the beginning of a baby's life, stories/experiences on regretted abortions and the Christian perspective on abortion. Abortion is unfair to the unborn child. They"ll never experience the joy of laughter, to experience friendship and, most importantly, they"ll never experience love and how amazing it feels to be loved. Abortion strips a child from all those experiences and rights. Abortion is murder.
People have many theories and ideas about when human life begins. Some say, a baby's life begins when the child is born from the mother's womb. Others say a baby's life begins right when the sperm and the egg unite, creating the fetus. Well, even though it's not determined exactly when a baby's life starts it is clear that the baby has the same human rights just like every one of us, whether born or unborn. Most countries allow pregnant women to abort within the limit of 12-14 weeks into pregnancy. Within 12-14 weeks a baby's heart has already began to function (starts beating on the twenty first day of pregnancy); the shape of the body has already taken form (brain, lungs, intestine and stomach). In the span of three months a baby can kick, turn their feet, curl, make a fist, move their thumbs, bend their wrists, turn their head, open their mouth and practices to breath. 29% of women have abortions on their third month of pregnancy. Literally they"re killing a mini human being/life form/ creature.
Also, abortion isn't just a medical process there's a lot of emotional and physical stress on the woman. After aborting guilt is clearly present, along with regret, remorse, shame, lowered self-esteem, insomnia, dreams and nightmares, flash backs, anniversary reactions. There often is hostility, and even hatred, toward men.
