Some people think that the changes made in life that are a real impact have to be the .
But the truth of the matter is that the subtle changes that occur .
over a period of time, are the ones that really effect your life. How I begun to think about this .
was really images that played like a theater in my mind. .
.
We recently had a family reunion in which many pictures were taken. And of course .
what you usually do at family reunions is talk about the way things use to be, the way we want .
things to be, and the way that I would like them to be. Such as divorce, death, family moves. .
These are all examples that people everyday acknowledge. I can't hide the fact that these life .
altering situations have not effected me in many ways. Considering at times, I've been the adult .
where as my parents have been the children. Yet through all that, it made me to be more .
stronger and more mature, and realize that life can be so short and you must not dwell and learn .
to move on. .
.
It may seem tright, but haven't you heard the perverbial saying that your whole life can .
flash before you very eyes? This exact situation occured to me when I was taking my senior .
pictures. As I was standing there in my cap and gown, my good, family, long-time friend, who .
was with me, made a remark, "My what a young woman you've become." And at that time I .
realized it wasn't the "one step for man, one giant step for mankind," but it was the more subtle .
change of realizing I was putting away children attributes and becoming a woman.
