Since I can remember, art is what I have always enjoyed doing most. I believe myself to be an efficient and creative artist who will never enter a project half hearted or leave it undone. I am wonderful with color coordination and pride myself in adding great detail to my work. Detail is one of the more important aspects of art as it is in life so to help enrich my creative skill, I took many art classes during high school. I was taught to draw landscapes, abstracts, objects and people. These courses help shape my decisions for later on in my future.

My goal in life is to have a career that I enjoy waking up to every morning. The guote by Joan Miro best describes the way I feel about my art, " I try to apply colors like words that shape poems, like notes that shape music." The pieces of art I create are more than a part of me; they show perspective and personality. I choose the colors that best represent my mood and it helps to show the emotion that lies behind my artwork. I try to portray how nothing in art is plain and simple. A tree can never be just a tree. For example, if while staring out at a landscape, I see the sun is hitting the gold and green leaves through the branches of a tree in just the right light, the scene becomes a moment of art in itself. I try to bring out that feeling as much as I can in my artwork. Although at times it can be stressful and hard work to get it just right, I have learned through trial and error that nothing is perfect the first time around. I take my time and it takes great patience to add all the detail I consider to be my perfection. Great art is nothing without the constant dedication of a persistant artist.
I choose to take this class not because It was one of the electives but because I knew that I would be intrested to learn more about all these famous artists and there great artwork. Taking this class provided me with more information then I already known about these great artists and there beautiful artwork.
