Setting the standard for doing business in the new millennium is a difficult task that I will attempt to conquer when preparing my new start-up company. The service business that I feel fits me right, and would allow me to excel economically, would be a hair salon. The last couple times I have needed a haircut, I have gone to different places in search of the right one. The right one meaning that I leave with a smile on my face for the services that I have paid for. Since I have yet to make that place, I will create it. .
Going into a business is a very risky thing to do. This is why I have decided to go into a partnership when putting this business to play. I feel this will benefit me in the sense that I will have the ability to grow either together or separate, with the addition of new talent and money. By choosing a partnership, the business can easily be formed by meeting only a few legal requirements. Even though there are some disadvantages of going into a partnership business, I feel that at this stage of my life if I were to start a business I would need someone by my side to run ideas through, and watch over me. .
I feel that I can be successful in running such business because of my hard work, drive and dedication. This business would meet the market demand for the products and services that will be provided. I would not have weak control or a below average administrative system. Everything that will be done will be under control, and will have a decent administrative system. Finally, something everyone needs at least once when starting a business, and I hope I would get is a little luck. .
First off, I would have to come to an agreement with my partner on to who our target market would be. This would be a very easy decision if the business were to start here in Berkeley. Our target market then would obviously be students, with occasional visits from other Berkeley residents, which I see no problem with.
