The Holy Spirit


            
            
             The Holy Spirit is God Himself, a person with whom you can have a personal relationship. The Holy Spirit is the one who the Lord gave us to guide, direct and teach the church, and us. (John 14:16) The Holy Spirit is the inner voice that tells us something is wrong with our life. That inner voice is a blessing from God, who loves us enough to show us our error. The Holy Spirit is part of the Trinity. There is one God who is manifested in three persons, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
             The Holy Spirit is eternal (Heb 9:14).
             The Holy Spirit is omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-10).
             The Holy Spirit is omniscient (1 Cor 2:10-11).
             The Holy Spirit is omnipotent (Luke 1:35).
             The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins, shows God's wrath to produce Godly fear, and shows us the way to God's salvation through Jesus Christ.
             And finally the Holy Spirit is the promise of Jesus Christ. (John 16:7; John 14:17; .

             The Holy Spirit is very active in the lives of human beings today. He is very active in the lives of the unsaved as well as the saved. Without the presence of the Holy Spirit mankind has no hope. We are totally dependent upon Him for our eternal salvation, our wisdom, our courage, and our direction in life. .
             When we receive Jesus into our lives the Holy Spirit comes and resides in our hearts forever, available to help us when we face difficulties in our lives. The Holy Spirit testifies of our relationship with God. (1 John 3:24) The Holy Spirit teaches (John 14:26).
             The Holy Spirit guides us in the direction God wants for us. (Rom 8:14).
             God shows His love for us, as His Holy Spirit is ever present to help God's children follow the right path. The Holy Spirits purpose is always to bring glory to God. .
             The Holy Spirit directs us, protects the church, edifies, exhorts, and comforts us. The Spirit wants to bring you to a greater appreciation of God and His love for you, to reveal Jesus Christ and His work for you, to urge you to do what you know you should, and to bring healing to your painful wounds.
