The Reconstruction is a big explosion that developed in 1865 with the help of African-Americans and white radicals that transformed the country for African-Americans in many ways such as change in economic, class, educational, cultural, gender, political and human rights.
The issue of economic also plays a major role during the reconstruction because money always interferes with everything. In many former white slaves owner money had a big value. Greed envy was seen mostly in the south part. After slavery many African American were granted their freedom. This was unexpected something that whites did not want them to obtain. Not only will white southern slave owners lose their slaves, but they would also be losing their profits.
Without slaves, nothing would be done. Slave owners were losing a lot of business. They were becoming financially unstable. This was known as an economical crash. Slave owners faced a depression that put them in a worst situation of almost losing all that they had and owned. The former slave owner had to rebuild and support their financial status back, but thing wasn't smooth enough. The African American refused to go back and work on the plantation field. This reconstruction was all about them. Them trying to transform their lives to benefit and satisfy their needs. They wanted to make money that they could profit from and that is what they began to do. African-Americans began to own and create businesses. They were able to work in high position jobs. This was what they wanted for a long time. A good amount of African American started to move to the northern part of the country. Up north jobs were promising, factories and assembly line started to emerge. Wages were much more higher that the south.
Social issues such as class and education affected the transformation of African-Americans in the south as well. African-Americans now had held many positions such as county supervisor and tax collectors.
