Women on board submarines

A woman on board a submarine? No Really I don't think that she can handle it! She is not one of the guys, who does she think she is? I do not care what happens they should not let women onto subs and that final! A woman on board a submarine has been a very big issue for a while, and it seems that it is still is today. Currently there are three other countries around the world arguing this same issue to no resolve, and it is becoming a more increasing problem day by day. The United States government should allow women to serve in Unites states submarines.
There are a several reasons to why this situation of debate can be argued. For one, it can be argued that this act is discriminatory, and that for the United States government to refuse certain military jobs to females mainly working on subs, it would be going against this nations constitution. Secondly, some would say that females are equal to men in the jobs and mission fields in which men volunteer for in the military, and that women are able to perform these same tasks. .
Some people however have very different opinions to this subject matter which is shown in an article written by Jon E. Doughtery which stated that Navy officials and congressional opponents maintained the idea that the "silent service" should remain devoid of, mixed gender crews. Another section of this article showed the "fact" that Navy submarines due to their very unique space limitations, equipment density, and design constraints in an extended mission environment, in United States Submarines can not provide the necessary privacy to properly accommodate mixed gender crews. Due to this "ruling" the house passed a bill ordering the military to revert back to sex separate recruit training. This bill however, was rejected due to it being discriminatory (online).
Another article in which the discrimination argument can be supported by would be the article written by Richard horn which argues that Women have served on naval combat surface ships since nineteen ninety four, and now make up fourteen percent of the navy's three hundred and seventy thousand personnel.
