One another thing that I should mention is the ideas of Christianity, and the Robinson Crusoe's point of view to Christianity. Robinson Crusoe is not a religious man. He believes in Christianity but he doesn't use Christianity to regard his god. He uses Christianity like a manner. He always investigates and considers things by the help of Christianity. He thinks everything morally. He tries to find the right choice by considering on the problems morally. Christianity is like a thinking style for Robinson Crusoe. He tries to make plans before making anything. This is a classical Christianity idea. He tries to find the right way by thinking morally by the help of Christianity. One another religious message in the novel is the "Predestination thought". Predestination is simply, thinking everything, every situation and every happenings as planned by the god. God planned everything and he don't have chance to change anything. Is something bad happens, that must be ruled by the god to be so. Robinson believes in Predestination. He thinks that it was his fate, written by the god, to come to this island and live for long years. This is a classical predestination thought. .
As we all know, England is a country, which has lots of colonies. English nation lived with their colonies for years. They get used to have colonies from every part of the world. As a typical Englishman, Robinson Crusoe, act against Friday just like he is a slave. So we can see a relation Friday's situation and the colonies of England. Here, Friday can be seen as the colonies and Robinson Crusoe like the England itself. And moreover, later on the novel Robinson Crusoe meets Friday's father. Again he behaves him just like he's the slave. Then Robinson Crusoe meets another man. He's a Spanish guy and his end is the same. He became a slave of Robinson Crusoe just like Friday and his father. Robinson let them know about anything on his island.
