The importance of making friends in high school is that you have someone to confide in, you can help sharpen each other, and basically have fun.
First off, when you have friends you will have people to confide in. for example, when you are down and out you will have a shoulder to cry on. The sense of insurance that friends give you allows people to feel as though they can overcome any obstacle. Also, when you know you can call a friend at any time of the day your confidence rises a couple notches. A friend to reach out to is more powerful than any compliment anyone could give. Lastly, knowing that there will be someone there to catch you when you fall lets you take risks. Being able to take chances simply because you know that you have the safety net of a reliable friend is something very rarely found. Luckily the lord has blessed Village with many f these people. In general, on e makes friends in high school so they can have someone to entrust in during what most people describe as one of the hardest times in their lives. .
Another reason it is important to make friends in high school is to sharpen each other. Friends will sharpen you mentally by keeping you alert. Unfortunately , tough love, such as making fun, keeps us fast witted. Friends can also sharpen us socially. As we interact with friends, it will prepare us for when we are unleashed into the real world. Being Christians and having fellow believers as friends, they will help keep us accountable and sharpen us spiritually. As the Bible says. We are the most effective tools in sharpening one another. As iron sharpens iron so a man sharpens the countenance of a friend. Proverbs 27:17.
The last and most important aspect of having friends in high school is just having fun.
