             Since it's easier to bleed a bird that isn't flapping and struggling, most live birds have their heads dragged through an electrically charged water bath to paralyze -- not stun -- them.              In short, when animals get sent to a slaughterhouse to be packaged, they do not go through a painless experience, as much as that would be pleasant, people need to be more aware of this because it is happening everyday of the year.
             Secondly, utilization of animal substances it not only cruel towards animals it is also destroying our natural resources. This means that if many of these companies would stop, or at least produce less of their product, then we would be able to slow down global warming and stop the rise of many El Niños, and other serious weather conditions. Cattle alone consume a quantity of food equal to the caloric needs of 8.7 billion people-more than the entire human population on Earth. According to the Worldwatch Institute, ""The easiest way to reduce grain consumption is to lower the intake of meat and milk, grain-intensive foods."" (http://www.worldwatch.org/press/news/1996/01/25/). Today more than 260 acres of trees are cleared to feed animals that "need- to be raised for food every year. For every person that does become a vegetarian, they will save one acre of trees every year. To put it briefly, eating meat causes damaging effects on our natural resources that will one day become very severe unless people come to this realization sooner and cut back on eating meat and all other accessories that come along with it. .
             Thirdly, not only is manufacturing animal products destroying our natural resources, it is also cause a major downfall in our environment.
