I think today's Libertarians have an eccentric belief in human rights. All through their political stanza they squeeze in a section which will help man in their eyes. I like many of their views on human rights. Some of these human rights beliefs are that midwives shouldn't be prohibited, advertisement of any sort should be allowed, employees shouldn't have mandatory checks of nationalities, and courts should allow the media the right to broadcast all court proceedings. The Libertarians are taking a stride to prevent people from becoming prejudicial. Also, they are fighting for the right to have planned births that aren't in a hospital. According to them it is the persons right to have a midwife deliver their child and the government shouldn't be able to interfere. The most eye raising were their views on advertisement. They believe that just as any store can advertise so can anyone. Many of their beliefs and arguments are of this sort, strong willed with the attempt to help people with a little twist. .
This party, although has great arguments to improve the nasty tick that human rights keeps bringing, has quite little to say about other major issues such as abortion and war. In some eyes that could be a sign of weakness and in others, dedication to the item of importance. Libertarians have the right mindset to get into office. They fight for what they believe is right and not what will get them re-elected. Of course that might change once they see the television screen say that Mr. X, the first libertarian has just won an office, but for now they seem to be genuine. When that day comes though, the rights of U.S. citizens will greatly change. .
If I had to pick I would say I am a Liberalist. "Most times though I would like to think that I am what most people in the United States would describe as an idealist, a progressive, a liberal, a social democrat, or worse. Let me explain.
