Through the use of passion he mislead Emily into getting the hankerchief for him. Hugo furthers his quest for Oden's destruction by having Oden listen to a conversation between him and Mike about a girl. The girl that served as their topic of conversation was named Bianca. Oden was misled to believe the girl in the topic of the conversation was Dessy. Oden is then motivated with such rage as to commit murder. He goes to Hugo because he has found new confidence and trust in Hugo's friendship. Hugo orchestrated a plan which eventually lead to the demise of Emily, Oden, Mike, Dessy and Rich. Hugo in the end was left incarcerated and disowned by his father. .
             Shakespeare's "Othello" is a story of tragic romance that takes place in Venice. Othello is a General, and a Christian Moor. His wife Desdemona is determined and loyal to Othello despite Iago's plans to rip them apart. Her father Brabanzio is a Venetian senator. He accuses Othello of using witchcraft to seduce or steal his daughter from him. He is made bitter by the fact that their marriage was done in Secrecy. Iago plays a character bent to avenge Othello's promotion and superior accomplishments. .
             To do this he ingeniously takes advantage of every friendship around him. Roderigo is a wealthy, foolish and jealous man who has feelings for Desdemona. Iago makes him his pawn by offering him the promise of her company in exchange for his services and money. Cassio is Othello's trusted friend. How ever, after Iago's efforts this changes dramatically. Roderigo is coaxed by Iago to have a drunken brawl with Cassion. This results in Othello stripping Cassio of his rank of lieutenant. Iago quickly takes advantage of the situation he created, he fools Cassio into believing that if he were to befriend Desdemona she can convince Othello to put him back in his good graces. Iago secretly wants to use this opportunity to drive Othello mad with jealousy. In time the expected occurs, Cassio becomes very close to Desdemona and Iago wastes no time in informing Othello.
