Othello


            
             William's story of Othello is a romance focused around the problem of communication between lovers and friends. . Othello's main topics are love, murder, jealousy, miscommunication, chastity, history, and even magic. The story takes place In Venice and moved to Cyprus. It is a story about the Love between the Moor, an outsider, someone differentiated by skin color and culture, and Desdemona. The two were the perfect couple until the jealousy of devilish Iago erupts into a deceiving plan to destroy the couple. Iago is a jealous man because The Moor is selected as Lieutenant while Iago wanted that seat. .
             While version of Othello takes place in the resent years but portrays the same themes. This movie takes place at a very popular institute where Oden, the popular black guy is in love with Desdemona. Hugo is the character of Iago who is very jealous, and tries to corrupt the life of O. Hugo starts the corruption after becoming extremely jealous of him because his father, the basketball coach names him MVP, and tells the school "I love him like a son,".
             Rodrigo, and Rodger play the roles of the men who secretly love Desdemona. They both want the love they have for her to be return so they will help Iago and Hugo with their plans. Rodger gets beat up twice, cut with a beer bottle and humiliated in front of the school. Rodrigo also gets beat up, but he will do anything for the love of Desdemona. Hugo corrupts the special bond that Michael and Oden have. He gets Oden to believe that Michael is having an affair with D, when really he just wants to get back on the team because of his out burst at the party. Because of Hugo there friendship is destroyed. The same is happing with Rodrigo and Othello in the play. Othello believes there is love between the two. .
             One of the key elements in both of the story lines is the handkerchief. In both story lines the handkerchief is given because of a sign of love.
