Love is a deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude toward a person, pet or a treasured object, such as recognition of attractive qualities, or a sense of underlying oneness. It is one of the most precious and treasured feelings in one's life. A British novelist Iris Murdoch has a quotation of love and I quote from him: "Love is the difficult realization that something other than oneself is real.".
When I was still a child, I was able to experience my first real love. My love has been with me for almost 8 years now, at my side during formal functions and school. Originally as a Christmas present when I was 6, this has been a constant reminder of my past accomplishments and a reminder that God is with me wherever I go. As others see me wear my treasure, they realize I have style, yet I do not have my treasure wherever I go for some people may be offended by such an expensive piece. I do enjoy the simplicity of it. There are no special buttons or other such things to confuse its main purpose. The purpose of my treasure, which is my precious watch, is to make sure I'm on time for events and occasions. I can feel a sense of security whenever I wear it. It has done that for 8 years, and will continue to for as long as I keep it.
Some people think the important thing is to love rather than to be loved. But I believe to love and be loved is like feeling the sun from both sides. Love needs to be mutually felt by each one and not just by one in order to live in harmony. It is like an irresistible feeling that is irresistibly desired when someone had experienced it. I have loved my watch for a long time, not just wearing it. "Real" isn't how my watch is made but through this, I can make my watch "real" through the love of a human. I feel that love is the most beautiful feeling and that everyone should have a chance to have a feeling of real love. .
