She tells them all what the right thing to do is.
Frank is acted out by Peter Boyle. He is the complete and utter terror of the family. His favorite saying is, "Holy Crap." He never has anything good to say to anyone and he will consistently eat.
Robert Barone, played by Brad Garrett, is the elder brother of Ray. He is constantly fighting battles with Ray which he inadvertently loses. He lives with his parents and has gotten divorced in his past. But most recently this year, Robert got married to his new wife, Amy. Although Robert is older, he acts like a child and he always feels like Ray gets everything. Robert is very intelligent but he's often ridiculed by either Ray or his father.
Ally Barone, played by Madlyn Sweeten, is a cute eight year old who is very smart for her age. She is not a big character in the show but in some episodes she is smarter than Ray.
Geoffrey and Michael Barone are twin boys played by Sawyer and Sullivan Sweeten respectively. They are around four years old. There is not much to say about them but in the show Michael is a littler smarter than Geoffrey.
The other addition added to the Barone family, this year, is Robert's new wife, Amy. The Barone Family is a middle-class white American family. They live the normal American life. They don't drive in fancy cars, they don't go out to dinner too often. Their house isn't extravagant. Ray is a sportswriter, and Debra is a house wife. Which is usually the setting in any American home.
The whole Barone family is not that religious. They are Catholic due to the fact they tried to get Frank to attend church one day and he stayed by the back exit of the church. Ray and Debra's children attend Sunday school, but the show does not talk about religion that much.
Ray and Debra Barone are a happily married couple. They have an eight year old daughter, and four year old twin sons. Even though Debra is perpetually criticized by Marie, Ray's mother, their marriage still stand strong.
